What Is Channeling?
Channeling is when a psychic or medium (or anyone, essentially) goes into a meditative or trance state so that a non-physical being may communicate through them. Or, like me, channeling will be when I just sit back, relax, let my mind clear a little, and set the intention to receive certain guidance or information for a person. This information has (so far) come through in the same way the information comes when I use my oracle cards - as thoughts. I just type down the thoughts on the computer as they come to me and when it's finished, that's that - the work is over. Some psychics are exceedingly skilled with this - others, like myself, seem to channel only general information that the client feels makes a lot of sense and gives them a lot of room to take charge of their own lives. I'm often surprised by how surprised my clients are when they receive a channeling at how relevant and helpful it is.

Reiki Healing: Reiki is another thing that is a "channeling" process. JUST using Reiki in healing requires nothing more than having a name of someone I am sending the healing to, writing their name on a piece of paper, and putting it in between my palms as I activate the energy and symbols for specific purposes and let the energy flow through me.
